Headway ® Marine Voyage Data Recorder

Shipborne Voyage Data Recorder (VDR), also known as the “ship black box”, is used to collect and record all kinds of navigation data in real time during ship navigation, including time, position, speed, water depth, heading, wheelhouse sound, communication sound, wind speed, wind direction, alarm information, etc., which plays a pivotal role in the ship’s investigation of the cause of the accident, the search for evidence chain, qualitative and aftermath treatment.

The Headway ® Marine Voyage Data Recorder (HMT-100A) is approved by the IMO Executive Standard MSC 333(90) and complies with IEC61161-1-2013, IEC 60945 specifications. The system covers floating data protectors, sinking data protectors, as well as host units, standby power supplies, remote collection units, remote alarm units and microphones, etc., which can realize the collection and storage of various information data within 30 days of ship navigation.
