Programming kit for the AMI Float Free Capsule

Contains the infra-red programming sensor and USB cable for communication with the capsule.
The supplied printer is used to produce the label. It is required to show the key information of the vessel on which the capsule is installed.

It contains an infrared programming sensor, a label printer, and all required cables.

STORAGE OF A MINIMUM OF 48 HOURS OF DATA GATHERED BY THE VOYAGE DATA RECORDER.

The AMI Capsule is a Cospas-Sarsat and MED-approved float-free capsule. It combines an Emergency Position Indicating Radio Beacon (EPIRB). Also, a 64GB float-free storage medium to meet the MSC.333(90) and also the IEC 61996-1 Ed 2.0 VDR regulations.

The AMI Capsule has been designed in accordance with and therefore complies with the MSC 333(90), IEC61097-2, and IEC61992-1 Ed.2.0 performance standards.

REQUIREMENTS

From July 1st, 2014, any new VDR system installed must store at least 48 hours of voyage data. The AMI Capsule contains 64GB of storage capacity. Consequently, this will exceed the 48 hours of data required.
