The KW903-SX connects a new or replacement gyro or other electronic compass to an existing repeater system. It outputs a medium power synchro transmission with ratios 1:1 to 360:1. Applications include refitting a ship with a new gyro, whilst retaining the existing repeaters and autopilot. Heading input is NMEA 0183 only, which most modern gyros give as standard. For gyros that do not have NMEA available, various interfaces are also available from our product range for signal conversion to NMEA data.
